| Tupac Amaru Shakur
Hey There, I'm a guy that loves just about every type of music under the sun. If you came into my house, you would find me listening to rock, rap, hip hop, classical, orchestra, pop, new age, piano, techno, trance, oldies, alternative, pretty much EVERYTHING. But the one artist that started everything for me was Tupac. In a way I have sides just like him. He loved poetry and theater. He loved rappin his thoughts and feelings. He loved telling people that he just didn't give a F***. The beginning of his life was hard, but he struggled through. His early career was "stickin it to the man" music. Later he rapped about subjects like teen pregnancy, faulty parents, drugs addiction, racism in the ghetto, violence in the ghetto. He rallied anti gang gatherings where Bloods and Crips were together, just chillin, kickin it with each other, listening to Tupac talk about the hardships they all knew too well. During the ending of his life, Tupac got caught up in the beef with Biggie. He started more "Gangsta" Rap that was more hardcore than his previous recordings. This is what a lot of people see, and judge him on. Their ignorance disgusts me. If your going to throw comments about a person up, at least research their life, see what they believed and spoke or sang or rapped about. Just cause he rapped doesn't mean he hated everyone and was what we see as most stereotypical, money hungry rappers out their today. So go to youtube, wikipedia, sing365, and look up his interviews, biography, poems, lyrics. Then tell me Tupac Shakur was a bad person. R.I.P. Tupac | |
